If the name on your DITC Portal sits in New York, London, Hong Kong, or anywhere else outside the Cayman Islands, the 2025 CRS amendments have already made that appointment the wrong one.
MG Management is a CIMA-licensed fiduciary at Landmark Square. We become your Cayman-resident Principal Point of Contact — physical address, named directors, a number DITC can actually dial. Existing financial institutions have until 31 January 2027. New FIs need us on registration.
They want someone in the Islands, at a physical address, who will answer. A mailing address fails. A New York tax team fails. A “we have a Cayman registered office” line fails if that office is not the PPoC.
Miss the window and you are not in a grey area. You are an FI with a stale portal record, exposed to follow-up and administrative penalties, explaining to investors and counsel why the easy appointment was left until February.
Book the appointment now. Portal live in days, not in the January rush.
Already have a Cayman-resident PPoC who is current on the portal? You do not need a new appointment. You may still want MG coordinating the 2026/27 CRS and FATCA calendar.

What “in the Islands” means
A PPoC is the Authority’s primary contact for CRS. DITC must be able to write or call and reasonably expect a reply. Thin contact details get rejected or chased.
| Who | What you must do | Hard date |
|---|---|---|
| Existing Cayman FIs | Appoint a PPoC in the Islands and put them on the DITC Portal | 31 January 2027 |
| New FIs (from 1 January 2026) | Appoint a Cayman PPoC as part of DITC registration | On registration |
| Any FI | Tell DITC when the PPoC changes | Promptly (counsel typically: 30 days) |
| Reporting year 2026 on | CRS return + compliance form (now one deadline) | 30 June the following year (first: 30 June 2027) |
Working summary for managers and counsel. Not legal advice. Confirm classification and filings with Cayman counsel against the current DITC notices. Last reviewed: August 2026.
MG is appointed as your Cayman PPoC — the company, a named Cayman-resident director, or both — and we do the work that makes the filing true.
Victor Murray, Denise Archer, and Hannah Welcome live and work in Cayman. One of them is the name on the file. Not a ticket queue.
Speed. Papers in order, we are on the portal in days. That is the product. Global fiduciaries will still be in KYC when your counsel wanted a name last Tuesday.
A real office on the filing. 2D Landmark Square, 64 Earth Close, Seven Mile Beach. Physical address. Not a mail-forwarding story.
One firm for the jobs that arrive together. PPoC rarely travels alone. Add independent directors, MLRO / DMLRO / CO, registered office, or economic substance and you stop paying two vendors to leave each other voicemails.
Credentials your counsel already recognise. CIMA-licensed, 2011. Victor Murray — President of the Cayman Islands Directors Association, formerly Senior Vice President at Maples FS and in-house at Citco. Denise Archer — Cayman-born attorney, Mourant, Deloitte Cayman. Hannah Welcome — ACAMS, AML/CFT.
We are not the only firm who can be a PPoC. We are the one that will have capacity in November, pick up in December, and still be the name on the portal in 2028.
Do not wait for January 2027. Every fund that procrastinates will call the same ten Cayman offices in the same three weeks.
Fixed fees. In the letter. No “we will bill the first DITC notice at hourly rates.”
A standalone PPoC and a PPoC-plus-board mandate are different jobs, so we do not publish a number on this page. Ask for the schedule on the call. You will have it the same week.
No. This sits on Cayman financial institutions that must keep a DITC Portal record — typically funds and other reporting FIs. Classification is a counsel question. If you are an FI, you need a Cayman PPoC. If you are not sure, ask us and your counsel on the same call.
No — not if they have no physical Cayman address. They can still prepare the return and sit as a secondary portal user. They cannot be the locally reachable PPoC. That is the appointment we take.
Yes. That is a common, clean split. We go on the portal. Your administrator or tax agent keeps producing the CRS and FATCA filings. Or we coordinate both. Your choice, priced in the letter.
Either works. MG can be appointed as the Cayman company, with a named director as the working contact. That is what most funds want.
You are outside the transitional window. DITC can chase the record, reject incomplete filings, and levy administrative penalties. Investors and incoming counsel will ask why. Treat the date as a hard stop. Then move it forward by three months in your own calendar.
Yes. Most of our appointments are introduced by counsel. Maples, Walkers, Ogier, Harneys, Mourant, or a firm we have not met yet — we work to their paper. Managers can also come direct.
Entity name. Who the PPoC is today. Whether you want the appointment only or reporting as well. A director answers. Not a business-development queue.
